In its simplest form a motorcycle wheel chock is a motorcycle stand that is bolted down to a trailer to keep a motorcycle in place during travel.  The motorcycle is also kept in place by motorcycle tie downs and motorcycle tie down hooks.  These wheel chocks can be installed in motorcycle carriers like utility trailers and motorcycle enclosed trailers.

Motorcycle wheel chocks are not just for hauling a motorcycle.  It can be used in the garage as a front or rear wheel chock, as a place to park a motorcycle (it can also be permanently mounted to a floor), as a front or rear wheel stand to hold a motorcycle in place for maintenance and repair, and also for hauling a motorcycle on our flatbed trailer.

What to look for when purchasing a wheel chock for hauling a motorcycle?  The main concern that is if the choke will be able to bolt onto the trailer that you haul you motorcycle in.  This is a big concern because most wheel chocks don't have a bolting feature.  Above are two motorcycle wheel chocks that bolt onto cargo and motorcycle utility trailers.

You may also want to consider motorcycle ramps.  When putting a motorcycle into these stands the motorcycle has to be pushed exactly straight into the motorcycle chock so that it does not get damaged during transport.  There are a lot of discount ramps to choose from on the market that should fit your situation.
